- Cycle
Stand- an Inspection Committee to be formed for recommending demolition:
It was brought to the knowledge of members of VMC that 10 year old Cycle
stand of the Vidyalaya has become unsafe for parking. In order to make a new
one it has to be demolished. Principal sought the cooperation of MES people
in this regard. Nominee Chairman agreed to this point.
- The
drainage problem was brought to the notice of the members. The Nominee
Chairman suggested ‘Pernala type’ system with open pipes for proper
outlet of water as the North-West section of the campus has no drainage
outlet and water-logging leads to breeding of pests and other related
problems.
- Special
repairs:
The contractor entrusted with the task by the MES has done extremely shoddy
work but the MES authorities instead of monitoring and checking him come
back with the same stock reply that he will be asked to rectify the
short-comings when he hands over the completion report. This would only
lengthen the repair job but the Vidyalaya cannot allow the work to drag-on
indefinitely as the Vidyalaya has to function and cannot keep waiting for
the contractor forever to finish the task.
